I know that it is scary but being honest with your mom will only help you in the long run and it will tighten your bond with her if she knows that you are willing to confide in her.
local health department
Go down to your local planned parenthood. But, you should tell your mom that you want to make an appointment with your doctor because of your diabetes and then talk to your doctor about the problems you are having with your period and then maybe she can talk to your mom.
Just tell her why since it’s totally valid, or you can go to Planned Parenthood and they’ll hook you up without mom’s knowledge.
try a free clinic or talk to your mom, she’s gotta understand about the irregularity. it also helps with cramps my mom put me on the pill when i was 14, i didnt lose my virginity until i was 19. goodluck
if you are to nervouse to tak to your mom talk to your docter since your over12 your conversations wit your Dr. will have to keep it private ( even from your mom).
i would just tell her the exact same situation you posted, she should understand why you want it. just make it clear you aren’t having sex, i dont really see any reason why she wouldn’t help
ask your mom about her periods and tell her that you are tired of having them irregular and it’s not that your missing them, but there’s a inconsistent pattern. She’ll probably tell you if she had or has the same irregular period pattern as you and tell her you’d like to see a obgyn to give you options to keep it regular..That is what the doctor will recommend in most cases. They told me birth control is good to have regular periods. I’m sure the doctor will recommend without you having to ask your mom for it…He’ll support your request for this. Good Luck! Don’t panic..just take it step by step, but be sure to have the doctor recommend so your mom doesn’t freak out and wonder why you’re asking for this…
call and make an appointment with ur local planned parenthood…u just fill out a paper saying u cant pay for bc and they will give them to u for free…u wont have to get a pap smear or anything so dont worry…good luck
Just be honest with her.
Going behind her back will just make her thoughts go more towards you wanting birth control for sex.
If you want it for your periods TALK TO HER about it. Answer her questions, tell her the truth.
