Dealing With DDs or Getting a Breast Reduction?
If you are against breast reductions please do not tell me, I’m looking for advice not a lecture, as we all have our own beliefs
I’ve never been into plastic surgery, but my insecurities of my chest size are beginning to over take me. I have often thought of a breast reduction, and may seriously consider it in the future.
I know there are women out there who’s situations are way worse than mine, but I would like some advice on how to deal. I am 18 years old, 5′ 6”, 140lbs with 34DD, but end up having to wear 36 or 38 because my size is so hard to find. It is so difficult for me to find clothing that fits correctly. The clothes I like to wear are beginning to not fit because my breasts will not stop growing, and these brands insist on making no room for breasts in their shirts!
I am in a sorority and have to wear dresses often. I am having the worst problems finding dresses that fit. Anything low cut requires an undershirt, and just looks disgusting. I have trouble wearing strapless dresses because of falling out.
Finding DD friendly swimming suits are also a big concern of mine. There are banded halter tops for more support, but they are still very revealing, making it hard to keep them in place. I can also go for a tankini, but as an 18 year old I am very frustrated that I have to wear a tankini.
I have chronic migraines accompanied by neck, shoulder, and lower back pain. Could my breasts be contributing to the back pain? If I were to get a breast reduction in the future, would back pain be a reason for insurance to cover the procedure?
Any tips on how to deal with having a bigger chest and finding swimming suits that fit, cover, and support properly? Or has anyone in the similar situation had a breast reduction, and would like to share their story?
Thanks!

Honey, I’ve got the same problem…i wear size 36DD, and i’m 17.
Although I don’t have any pain or anything, shirts are a huge pain to shop for. I’ll find some that I really like, but they end up being too short…ugh!
This runs in my family and three of my aunts had to have breast reductions because it killed their backs. They’re perfectly fine now.
i suggest a breast reduction
you’ll probably feel much better and it won’t give you back problems :]
omg i wish i had bigger boobs
