How Can I Get Taller and How Tall Am I Supposed to Be?

Im a guy and im 13 years old, almost 14. I hit pueberty earlier than other, like i already have facial hair. But i am only 5’5, and i really want to get taller for football in highschool. My dad is 5’11, and my mom is around 5’5. I lift weights, and i know it doesnt stunt growth, but is there anything i can do to get taller quick, and how tall am i supposed to be around? I want to be around 6’2, but i know im not going to be.

    im so sorry to tell you this but there is nothing you can do to make yourself grow. you can google "how tall will i be?" but that might not be accurate. it is all about your genetics. so all i can tell you is, give yourself more time, your only 13. im 13 too and only 5’2"(im a girl btw) and have been for almost 2 years

    Maintaining good posture will make a difference of about 1-2 inches.

    Actually, my brother was just like you. He was around 5’5” in his early teen years. When he hit 16, he shot up to 6’1”. Don’t stress about it. You still have a lot of time to grow.

    dont worry when i was 14 i was 5,5 when i hit 16 i grew about 7inchs and i still got more in me :)

    * ADVICE FOR HEIGHT

    Good intake of calcium daily as found in various foodstuffs like tonned milk, banana, ragi, nachni, yogurt, my favourite nachos with cheese..
    a best way i cud advice is to have milk shakes(chocolate, coffee flavoure) 2-3 times a day as an replacement for tea, coffee is a good alternative…

    Good sleep aftr exercises helps ur bones to relax and expand.. Atlest 8hrs good sleep at night…
    Remember food without exercises or exercises without food wont help you much.
    Also there are genetics n familial relationships related to height.. i.e if either ur parents are short heighted or either ur brother , sister.. than there are little chances for increase in height…BUT keep a positive attitude follow the daily regimen of food n exercises.If you goin to gym regularly, i wud advice not to perform any weight lifting exercises… stritctly NO..
