If You Were Diagnosed With Bdd, Then Just Depression & Anxiety Disorders Can You…..?

Go to your GP and ask for non-surgical procedures ?

I am 19 and hate my apperance i wen to an in unit when was 16 and ina nd out of day units from 17-18 had therapy, went on meds 2 months ago didn’t work. So I wear coloured lenses atm and dont show my face/hardly go out. I am trying to get a Tan via sunbed in my home and want to see a dermatolagist to sort out my skin and have my hair sorted out to as i hate it all, I am not asking the doctor to let me go under the knife, i’m asking for non surgical procedures as i have no life really and am suicidal and low over my apperance and physical chnage is all that will help.
Ive known girls/women who have had boob ops and tummy tucks, lipo on nhs because they were depressed and no meds helped. But im just asking for nice skin and hair (eyebrows & lashes) not a nose job , or lips done, tummy tuck/lipo etc as thats not my issue ?

my lips aren’t great! look >http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac121/joeYYYY_2010/008.jpg
BUT i can live with them. but not my skin or hair ! my gp said i dont have acne so he wont give me oral meds and no creams prescribed worked just burnt my skin so he stopped me from using them,
my family say if i go to a skin specalist they wont do nothing much as i just have a few spots and teen skin , but thats not what I see !!!

im on a quest to perfection ! even though i know theres no such thing.

my bodys ok but i could make my waist smaller and bum/thighs more toned up ! but i can do that by hard work and exercise, a waist cincher ?

You have low serotonin syndrome and symptoms of this include body dysmorphia, depression and anxiety. Read through this article about serotonin:

Low Serotonin – From Bliss to Despair
    http://www.enotalone.com/article/4116.html

The reason is to find the underlying cause of low serotonin. Most common cause is lack of vitamins and minerals…see biochemical pathway to serotonin:

Other reasons include hormonal imbalances including thryoid imbalance, poor diet, fats and sugars, stress, food allergies, lack of sunlight/vitamin D, metal toxins. I’ll put a few links of how to improve sertonin levels. Finding the underlying cause is critical to getting better.
