Is It Safe to Lift a 1 Year Old Slowly Straight Up by the Head for About 5 to 10 Seconds?

Saw someone do this and say it was safe. I was aghast. Can this be done safely? Can a 1 yr old neck take the stress of bodyweight?

    Would you want to be lifted up by your head only? I wouldn’t. There is no way I’d do this to my child or let anyone do it to my child.

    NEVER. I would think it harmful to lift an adult this way so a baby…? No way.

    Hell No! Tell them they are stupid and could severly hurt or kill their child. I think people should have to have a permit to breed!

    OMG I would have punched whoever did that in the face. No their little necks cant take the stress of the bodyweight! I dont even like my husband picking my son up by the forearms even though Logan thinks its fun and he only weighs 19 lbs most 12 month olds weigh more than him!

    ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Do you think it’d be safe to do that to an adult?! That person should be arrested for child abuse! Another example of why people should be licensed to have children!
