My Mom Won't Let Me Purchase My Own Hair Extensions?
Okay, I have very baby fine thin hair. I’ve struggled with it and there is absolutely no way to fix it "naturally". Anyways I would like to buy my own extensions just to see if it might make my routine easier- I wouldn’t have to waste 45 minutes doing my hair, because nobody likes that!
Anyways, my mother won’t let me buy my own and it is frustrating. She told me if I bought extensions I would want lipo and a boob job next. She never was really a girl at my age and she doesn’t know anything about hair or makeup or beauty- she’s had ear length hair since her teens.
Speaking of makeup, that adds to the equation; I wear it and she is upset. It’s not like I’m baking a cake- my face isn’t coated in flour. But sure, I won’t deny my love for concealer and mascara!
So, how should I convince her? I’m not going to give up on this because my hair is where most of my confidence comes from. (While we’re on the subject, I do not have a self esteem issue, but my hair really does sink my confidence)
1- I don’t care what guys think.
2- Growing out does nothing.
3- My dad is dead.
if mom fails..ask dad..if he fails..sucks for you
Dont get hair extensions….I think that when a girl has hair extensions…It makes her fake…Just like breast implants…haha.

I know in today’s society everyone and everything is telling you you have to look a certain way to get what you want out of life. I honestly think you should listen to your mother. I know a girl who gets hair extensions and they look AWEFUL! She looks so fake (of course she acts it was well but… that’s another story). You’re mom knows what she’s talking about, she’s older than you are, and she’s a lot more wise. As far as the makeup issue, just explain to her that you use it to enhance your beauty not to get attention. And as long as you’re not lying to her about that, maybe it’ll work.
