Will I Get Rejected for the Army and Army Special Forces?
When I was in 8th grade I was messing with a friend, I held a plastic knife that wasn’t sharp to his neck. He later told the VP and I got suspended for 1 day. I have never been arrested or have a speeding ticket. I have a scar on the back of my head, I don’t remember getting it. My mom said it was from when I was about 2 or 3 leaning against the car door from the inside when she opened and I fell out and hit the sidewalk. I keep asking her if I went to the hospital, the first time she said yes after that she keeps saying no. I might be allergic to something that causes hives(don’t know yet still waiting for the tests).
I took the ASVAB already at MEPs and got a 80. I haven’t told my recruiter any of the above yet. I told him I had a surgery scar from when I was about 7 years old from a hernia(my doctor says it is a very common hernia in kids), he told me to lie about it(of course I’m not going to start my career on a lie). Does it look like I have a chance of making a career or am I just shit out of luck?
I have a GED.
I don’t plan on joining the Army and go straight into Special Forces yet.
I think falling out of the car on your head explains this post.
you will get in Army that should not stop you
You can get in the Army for sure. Special Forces is a whole other can of worms.
I don’t if your GT score is high enough for SF and then of course you have the PT score to worry about as well. It’s a very elite group of people and they only accept a fraction of the applicants and from there even more get weeded out throughout the training process. I’m not saying you can’t get in to SF, but your chances of going SF coming straight out of the civilian world are extremely small. SF is more something you work up to, though I have heard of one case where someone got an 18X contract when he enlisted and actually completed everything and became part of the Special Forces.
